ok, so i know that instagram is deleting accounts, and #savemyig2014 has been going around... idk if its real or not.. like.. does using that hashtag really help u to not get deleted?

instagram only deletes accounts if your posting pictures/videos against the rules or you get reported enough.
That hashtag isn't going to change anything so no.

You just follow the rules and you won't get deleted.

I don't think it's real because a hashtag isn't going to save any accounts from anything. Instagram doesn't have any reason to delete anyone's account unless they're breaking the rules and/or policy's Instagram set. So no I don't think it's real so you don't have to worry.

It's a hoax. Instagram is owned by Facebook, which is not going broke. Also, Instagram doesn't make announcements via a graphic, but on its blog.

I don't think it's real because Instagram gets paid SO much from everyone using the app, so why would they delete people? That just makes them less money and less publicity and users so I'm pretty sure they are just updating Instagram and making it better so I don't think you need to be worried.
