help with google chrome?
I just got an Acer aspire v3 with windows 8.1, and i currently have internet explorer and was thinking of going to google chrome or Firefox because of the internet not responding crashes ive been getting..... how easy is it? do i just install chrome from explorer? and after do i uninstall internet explorer or just leave it? and what happens to my windows updates are they fine, and can my laptop continuously update when needed? tnx....

You can install Chrome, or Firefox, or even both. This does not affect the settings of your automatic updates, but if you want to manually update without the browser, use the Action Center in Control Panel.

You cannot uninstall Internet Explorer, but you don't have to use it.

The internet not responding is an entirely separate issue. You might have a problem with a plug-in for IE or your network connection, or something else. Hard to tell, since your description of the crashes didnt have detail.
