Near Lexington, South Carolina is there any shelter that will take in animals and try to rehome them?

I have a 5 year old Dog who I have been in desperate need of rehoming, I am moving and cant take him with me. I want to know if there are shelters near Lexington, SC that will take him in and try to rehome him and not put him down after a period of time. Please, any information will be greatly appreciated.

Can you try looking for Facebook groups in your area that are for pets? I do a lot of rescue work, & Facebook groups are how I typically find my rescues homes. That, or even try Craigslist. But if you choose to do it that way, be cautious of who you rehome your pet to. Meet with them, see how they interact with him. Ask a small, reasonable rehoming fee.
