Do LCD televisions interfere with cable internet connection?
My cable internet connection keeps dropping, I called the cable company, according to them the television is sending out 120 volts, and it should not. Is this true? According to them if I keep using my Vizio television that the internet connection is going to continue to drop. Do I need a new televison?

>Do LCD televisions interfere with cable internet connection<

No.

>to them the television is sending out 120 volts< Are you sure that is EXACTLY what they said? If so, they have no idea what they are talking about.

I suspect your cable company rep is either very uninformed, or he's misunderstood your problem. To prove it, I would turn off the TV and disconnect it entirely from the cable for a while, then monitor Internet performance. Still dropping? You can now call the cable company back and tell them you still have the problem with NO television set operating in your house or connected to the cable.

FWIW, I also suffered chronic Internet dropouts for months, every day for 5 to 10 minutes. The cable company told me it was my computer, which it wasn't. I solved the problem by canceling the service and going with AT&T U-Verse. No more dropouts.
