How to not pay for an order on eBay?
Okay so I recently ordered a fake PS3 controller and noticed it was fake a day and a half after purchase, it's currently shipping and in transit with an estimated delivery date of two days from now. I kindly asked the seller to cancel it and he told me it's on its way awhich is obviously a lie because I checked out the USPS website. I don't know what kind of an idiot this guy takes me for, probably a big one for purchasing his fake controller. He won't cancel the transaction and now I don't know who to go to, I didn't know EBay worked like this.
I purchased the item on a gift card, is there a way for me to just not pay them? Like can I work something out on Visa's website (where the gift card's from)? If I can't get this ass to cancel the order and give me my money back I figure I can just not pay at all and I'll still get a fake controller delivered to me. I know I'll get an unpaid item strike which I don't care about since I'm never doing business on EBay again, I just want my fucking money back even if it means stealing. Ads |

Open a case on Ebay for that transaction. If he included somewhere in the listing that the controller isn't a Sony product (I assume that's what you mean by a "fake" controller, in which case you should definitely look into non-sony products and go on a learning spree) then you're more than likely SOL, unless the seller is an idiot and can't make his way through the dispute process, in which case you will be fully refunded.

You might have to contact eBay customer service.
