how to check internet speed?
is there any freeware software by which i can confirm the speed i am getting from the internet company. because all companies are offering 50 or higher mbps speed but we are not sure.

50mpbs is that it? I live in the UK and I am with BT and I pay £30 a month for 75mbps plus broadband!
But apart from websites like ookla speed test I am not sure you can DEFINATELY confirm what you would get however most companies offer extra services if your internet does not reach what they deem 'average'. http://www.speedtest.net/ |
