IE won't enable add-ons?

my internet explorer won't enable add ons. I can see and click the "enable" button, but nothing happens. the only ones I can enable or disable, are the ones that are already enabled, by Publisher "not available", and another add on called shockwave flash object. all other add ons are disabled and can't be enabled.

Do you have enough memory available for the add-ons. That's my bet
