which phone? s4 mini or Iphone?

I am switching from pre-pay to bill pay for my birthday in November. Please keep in mind that I'm a girl using my dad's account and I'm 14 years old so that might change some answers. I'm struggling about weather to buy an Iphone or an s4 mini. I really like how the Iphone looks but the fact that everyone has it and the lack of custimization kind of puts me off. I know generally it's a great phone and I'd love to have one but I'm not sure. I love the s4 mini! It's fast, but it doesn't have a great look..

Another thing that puts me off is the knowledge that android apps are known to have ALOT of bugs and people normally complain of things like Facebook, Instagram etc. not working and these are apps I can't live without. Are apps like that in the apple app store? Or is it just android?

I'm really struggling to make a decision and I just need some extra opinions. Please give me reasons as to why I should get either phone. Thanks

I would recommend you get the S4 Mini. The phone will soon be getting the latest OS update, will become compatible with the Samsung Gear, and overall, it's camera, specs and everything else are just brilliant, all of that for a very low price unlike the iPhone.
