Offline advertising: Use business cards, car door magnet (24hrs effortless advertising), word of mouth, place a local ad.
Online advertising: You can use the marketing tools that most Gurus use and totally eliminate your budget. It's the Contact them software @ http://www.Guru-Traffic.com Or Do email marketing, place a business ad on craigslist, place your links on different social networks. Ads |

First, you need to figure out who your target clients are. Then think about where they are. If you do birthday party invitations then you could call nearby daycares, party places etc. And ask to leave some flyers there. You would be surprised how open many businesses are to this. You would probably benefit from locally owned businesses.
Check out vistaprint.com -Here you can get FREE business cards, flyers, window decals, etc. You definitely need a website there are many options out there. I actually design websites so if you need help you can e-mail me Go to sites that are free to post like craigslist.com and advertise your services. I definitely think getting Buss. Cards, a Website, and PROFESSIONAL flyers are your starting points! Once you get these your next challenge is to simply tell people about it. Word of mouth is definitely under rated . There is also a service on vistaprint.com that will mail out postcards to your target clients for about 7cents per card. And if you are a part of networks like facebook , or myspace start your own group or page and don't be shy with telling people about your business. |

You could place small classified ads in local newspapers, leave cards with bridal shops, put cards up at laundramat message boards, send a mailer out to those who announce their engagement.
