Facebook Security check? How to break it?

I registered for facebook using a phone and number that I don't have access to anymore last friday when I tried to log in I was sent to a security check and told to enter a code that was sent to my old number I need this code to log in I have treied adding a new email and tried changing my password even had to wait 24hrs twice only to be sent to the same page again. I have filed report after report and their only reponse was for them to ask me to send identification to verify me as the account holder which I have and I haven't heard a word from them this is so frustrating I just want the code sent to my new number so that I can log in. I never got an explanation as to why I was even sent to the security check in the first place

Something they introduced at the beginning of the year I think, annoyed the hell out of me so i turned it off. As for your question, you're doing all you can by contacting them. No way around it.
