Definitely. I think a lot of people were too shocked to even pay attention to the main event. I personally didn't even get into it until HHH came out and it started heating up.
Oh and it's not a good thing either. A 22 year streak to a part timer who'd leave the instant he was offer a slightly higher paycheck in another business/sport. It overshadowed it in a bad way. I see 25 questions on the first page alone concerning Brock and Taker and literally only one about the main event (not even about Bryan, about Orton getting injured). |

Well, probably, but Sting debuting on Raw will over shadowing Undertaker losing, so it all evens out

Did you all know that in real life, Brock and Taker are friends and Martial Arts buddies??? Taker is an avid UFC fan and attended all of Brocks matches when he was part of the company. So it's abit of a coincidence that Taker chooses his friend to end his streak in the WWE. Shock or no shock, Taker chose to end it and Vince said ok, but to who?... To Brock.
