Why is Divergent (the movie) getting so many bad reviews?
On twitter there is a trending tag that is #divergentwasawful I have seen it and thought it was amazing!!! (i have read the books) is there a reason everyone hated it? is it because of the hunger games?

probably it's because it's considered a cheap knockoff of the Hunger Games, even though The Hunger Games is from Lionsgate. Vampire Academy tried and it was considered a YouTube mash-up to Harry Potter and Twilight, flopped in the box office, but they are in petition to make the studio to confirm Vampire Academy: Frostbite, which would not likely to confirmed if Weinsteins are out of business forever.
