How does an Ipad know where we take pictures without internet connection?
Is this because of a GPS or satellite connection? However, when I tried using maps, it needed an internet connection even though it knew where I was..... Is apple compromising our privacy this way?

it's gps, but it needs an internet connection to download the map/information about that location.
