How to update Google Chrome?

Google Chrome doesn't always show certain pictures or webpages and I have to refresh my window so that it will show the actual page. Is something wrong with my version of Google Chrome? My computer sometimes shows that Chrome is using a high CPU.
What should I do?

If you want to check for and update, Click the Wrench/settings in the top right. The click "About google chrome" and it will scan for an update!

Like the answer above says. I hadn't checked mine in awhile and just checked. It said my
Google Chrome was up to date.

Updates are available if the wrench icon on the browser toolbar shows a little arrow . To apply the update, just follow the steps below.

1. Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
2. Select Update Google Chrome.
3. In the confirmation dialog that appears, click Restart. The browser saves your opened tabs and windows and reopens them automatically when it restarts. If you'd prefer not to restart right away, click Not now. The next time you restart your browser, the update will automatically be applied.

I don't think you have an update problem. Back in the very old days when downloading took a long time, browsers saved every website you visited to a folder called cache. The next time you visited any website it first looked in the cache folder and if the website was there, that is what came up on your screen because it was much faster to do that than download from the Internet, even though the real website on the Internet may have been since updated. Thus you have to hit the refresh key to force the browser to look on the Internet for the website rather than accepting blindly what is in the cache folder. Unfortunately, browsers still do that. You need to change a simple setting in Chrome so it does not look in cache for a website but instead ALWAYS goes directly to the website. Google for information on how to do that with Chrome or repost your question here asking specifically how to do that with chrome. It's a simple setting but I don't know it for Chrome.

I agree as well w/ going to tools in Chrome; but I also clear out my cache and flash player cache as well. That sometimes is the culprit as well. If you do not clear out the flash player cache then the browser doesn't do what you want it to. Here is the link for the Adobe Flash player cache if you are using it http://www.macromedia.com/support/docume...er07.html. This is what you need to type into your browser's window. Also, if you are playing games on a site; if that is what you like to do; it is good to update the Shockwave Flash player as well.
