Google chrome search engine help?
Well, I managed to change google from polish to english, but you know how google chrome works, you can search stuff by typing them in the adress bar, and there is a problem, whenever i search soemthing useing the adress bar, it redirects me to polish google, which I do not want to use.
as i said, when i go to google.com it stays on english, but when i search the adress bar it switches to polish, but i do not use PL version of google chrome, i just live here

thx for help

Go to options (top right you'll find the picture from where you can select options) , under "search" you will find a button "manage search engines". On clicking this button you will find another page titled "search engines". At the bottom of the page you will find an option to add a new engine. The first box is for the name. You can give any name of your choice. Second box is for the keyword, which you can give as "google.com". the third is the most important one where you copy paste the following:

https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sour...h=643&q=%s

now set this as the default and try your search. if your search still does not work, then:
1. go to google.com
2. type some one word search search
3. once you click on search and once google displays the results, copy the address there
4. past this in the third box of the engins you created in options (replacing the address i gave)
5. where ever in your address you have the word you searched, replace it by "%s"
for example: if you searched for "apple", you will get something like this

google.com/xxxxxxxxx+appleYYYYYYyyyyyyyyapple

you need to replace each apple with %s

so it becomes: google.com/xxxxxxxxx+%sYYYYYYyyyyyyyy%s
