Talking Angela rumors true??!!!!?
My friend told me this story:
Don't get Talking Tom or Talking Angela because the creator of the went crazy. When you go on the app Tom or Angela will ask you stuff like this "What is your name"? "What is your e-mail and phone number"? If you take a picture of Tom or Angela and you zoom in the picture in it's eyes you will see a man in his early 40s. When he knows your information he will kidnap you!!!
My friend he says he has proof because an 8th grader on his bus showed him a picture of Tom and Angelina zoomed in and he saw the man!!! Another girl on his bus said she saw it too!!!! Is this story true?? Should I get the app to test it....or is it to risky??

I checked a couple hours ago and took 2 screen shots during conversation with Angela and I zoomed in the photo and examined, the first photo I can see a skin Color figure and the 2nd one I see nothing but what seems to be someones room.. idk I will try checking her eyes more. She DOES NOT want to discuss about illuminati, she changes the subject its weird and she gets mad when I keep asking her..

I'm scared too, but I did research and it seems to not be real. I don't just trust whatever I see. But I did look at tons of pictures and I see the same room and sometimes a person. It's creepy, but I'm not sure if it's legit or not...

So you can assume this game is hacked which of course is false. But if it was hacked, you are not going to see anything in this cat's eyes. A person (the MAN) would use your front camera to see you. Your screen can't see you. The screen is only showing what the program has coded into it. Why would a hacker program himself into her eyes? The developer for this game is known, and apps through Apple and Google cannot be changed except through updates, through their perspective stores. So for those of you who believe this is a pedophile, his address (the programmer) is known. We can go and pick up all these missing kids there- you know the ones that nobody has filed a police report on in regards to this app taking them. Lets worry about who is really listening to our kids, and our, conversations- the NSA.

From what I've read the " talking angela app" is dangerous, because it takes pictures on your front or back camera. The excuse is that they want to see their feelings. I heard this only once; the hacker is a 81 yr old man. I'm not sure about this, because one article said that he/she was looking for teens, so it's all a mystery... I've mostly got bad reviews from people, so I'm pretty sure that the rumors are true. The most scary one I've seen so far was "lock your doors, lock your windows and hide. I know where you live now." Others are like "take your finger off the camera, idiot." Etc. some others are like "this app is fine, but the negative reviews outnumber the positive ones for like 5:1. I would believe the rumors, but if you have the guts to do it, then go for it. WARNING: I've also read that the minute you download the app it takes all your personal info and just takes all your data from your device and keeps it. I have been researching this for 2 days now, and I checked over 10 sites plus the App Store reviews. Some examples of reviews are like this:

Search on google "talking angela" you will get many results, on the web and on images as well. I hope this helped you decide whether to download it or not. I will never download this.

Of course the rumors are not true. This hoax began with a post on Facebook which in itself is highly questionable and quite frankly absurd. For starters the developers of this app, OutFit7 have been developing these kind of apps for a long time and are a perfectly respectable company.

Talking Angela uses a highly developed chatbot or AI which is programmed to respond and learn to things that you tell it. This kind of technology has been around for years. The app has a child mode which does not allow children to chat with Angela, if disabled then Angela will ask for your name and your age, this is so it can address you by your name during conversations and so it can ask you age appropriate questions. The app also (if you allow it) makes use of your front facing camera, this is because Angela is programmed with facial recognition software that can read facial expressions and body language. If you cover the camera and stop light getting in then Angela will say something along the lines of "stop covering the camera", this is nothing creepy or any sign of someone watching you, it is programmed to detect this. The app also does NOT take pictures of you using this or any other camera.

As regards to the alleged person in Angela's eyes, there isn't one, neither is it a room. It is in fact the image of a street (see below link), this is to simulate the reflection of Angela's surroundings just like an eye would do in real life. You can easily make out a road or pavement, potted plants along the walls, and don't just focus on the pupil like most people do, if you look at the iris then you'll notice the roof tops of the buildings and a chimney on the left roof top. All images on the web of a person or persons in her eye are fake and have been produced using art or photo manipulation software.

There are no news reports of children being kidnapped or abducted after having played on this app either, neither are there any police reports of any such thing. There is one article about a child going missing on a web site called Huzlers, which is a website that posts fake news (there is a disclaimer on the website that tells you this). People who talk about there being a kidnapper or have heard about kids going missing are lying or are just simply too gullible for their own good.

Link to Huzlers fake news article...

There is a plethora of websites and articles about this Talking Angela hoax all over the web, however there is a distinct lack of any proof that Talking Angela is a front for pedophiles or any such other nonsense. I have played the app myself and I can say with all honesty that there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, and it will not compromise any private information that you have on your phone or tablet.

Here is a recent article that talks to the developer of Talking Angela if you are interested...

Sadly the reason as to why this hoax was started is a mystery, it has spread like wild fire purely by word of mouth. Most of it's negative attention is actually from kids, and we all know that kids love spreading lies and rumors. If you happen to read a lot of bad reviews or comments about this app then that person will often say "I've heard" but never speaks from first hand experience. At the end of the day, make your own mind up and use a little common sense.
