How do you get score points on eBay?

Do you get score points by leaving a positive feedback (as a buyer), or do you get only when you sell things (and get positive feedbacks)?

Both sellers and buyers earn points through feedback. When you make a purchase, the seller will leave you feedback (and vice versa). Assuming this feedback is positive, you will receive points.

If you are talking about the seller rating system you only get that if you are selling. It can sometimes be a nightmare. Many buyers will leave all 1 stars just because they don't want to bother or don't give a hoot. This can cause you considerable harm as a seller.
