Internet only working on Internet Explorer?

Okay, so I was using chrome an hour ago, and everything was fine. All the sudden Norton said I needed to scan my system (like it does every month or so) for viruses. So likewise i did, and it found two tracking cookies and deleted them. So, I returned to chrome, and no webpages would load. So I closed it and reopened it. Same thing happened. Then I went to internet explorer, everything was perfectly fine. However, I have all my data on chrome and I prefer the ui, so I still wanted to use chrome. Seeing if another browser would work I went to download opera, webpages would not load on that either. Went to download Firefox, same thing. I restarted my computer. Now, when I open chrome, I can search things on Google, and the pages will load, but I can't access any other websites. Opera will still not work at all. So I would like to know how this could be fixed. Any ideas?
I actually ran a ccleaner scan and now everything is fine. But I cant seem to find a way to delete the question now. -__-
