My Macbook Air won't play any videos?
When I first bought my macbook (maybe a year or so ago), I was able to watch videos from netflix, putlocker, shockshare and those types of sites. But then now I can't even watch a short youtube video.
So a few months ago, I installed google chrome to see if that would work. And I can watch some videos on there. Although usually only if I go straight to the video site as soon as my computer turns on. (For example, over half the time if I visit another site then go to netflix, it just won't work). Any suggestions with what this could be? Also, I don't have very much on this computer. Like just the basics which have been on here since day one. Thanks Ads |

Maybe need flash player update? Like adobe flash player. Just go to the Adobe website and download it. If not I'd go to Apple.com and ask on live chat or call their support #.

You can tell us what you see on the screen. Saying "I can't even watch" a movie doesn't explain what you see on the screen. Is there any error message on the screen or does the movie play partially?
"Putlocker" isn't one website. It is seven. Tell exactly which Putlocker you use. "Shockshare" also has many websites, such as http://www.sockshare.com, socksharemovies.net. To enable use of Netflix, you must install Silverlight. Did you install Silverlight? If a movie plays partially, that means you have everything you need installed perfectly. The problem is your connection speed. To fix that, call your ISP and pay for an account upgrade to 50M service. To test your Flash Player plugin, go to this web page: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ You should see a red cube bouncing for just two seconds. If you DO SEE the bouncing red cube, that proves your Flash Player software is installed and WORKING PERFECTLY. If instead, you see a message about "Missing Plugin", install Flash Player from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ """I don't have very much on this computer""" Doesn't matter. Any "Stuff on" doesn't affect any other stuff on. <0-0> |
