If someone I know rejects my friend request, does that mean she doesn't like me?

I added someone I know, she's a liitle older, and I saw and went to her house and she always smiles at me and pleasant towards me. I friend requested her later, now I see she rejected me.

Does this mean she doesn't like me and she fake-acts around me? I'm sad.

Perhaps she may not feel comfortable with you being a fb friend as you would be able to see her personal information on it. She may know of you but not feel that close enough to know you.
I sometimes do this with people at work I like but do not want to reveal alot to them through fb.

Maybe she did it on accident...accidents do happen. You can ask her if she really meant it. If she did she probably feels uncomfortable. It doesn't mean she doesn't like you though. Don't let little things make you sad.
