which is a better operating system, mac or windows? which one is overall just better quality with less technical glitche

system be installed onto a non apple computer? what are the advantages of a mac over a windows system if any? im only asking because safari browser is crap on windows and thought that maybe other browsers like chrome, explorer, opera, and firefox might work just as well but on a mac operating system........... can someone please tell me. thank you.

I have never used Mac, but I would assume it is better than Windows. The cost is what scares most folks away.
I use Ubuntu Linux with the gnome desktop. I tried Linux about 7 years ago- the only issue has been trying to figure which one I like best- Ubuntu, Mint, Fedora, PClinuxOS, Zorin........
Linux is far easier than any Windows version, can't say about Mac.

Mac OS is for Apple computers. For non-Apple, it violates the terms and conditions license and the only reference to another forum is about osx on non-Apple because Yahoo Answers does not support violation of contracts. Google Hackintosh
Some computers take some versions of OSX

OSx is simpler, but has only about 10% of the software available compared to Windows.

Safari is an Apple browser. Google Chrome works well on Windows systems.

Most of the time, people compare a $1200 Apple laptop with a $500 Windows one and say Apple is better.
This is usually a case of some people swear by Apple, and some people swear at Apple. I just consider all Apple over-priced, but if value means nothing, by Apple.

Neither. Both MacOSX and Windows are virus-infested sacks of garbage. Linux is the better OS.
