Instagram is asking for my photo ID?
about last week I was trying to log into my account, and Instagram said that I had to check my Instagram on a desktop, so I did, and they said that they locked my account and wanted me to send in my official photo ID if I want to unlock it. if I don't send it in by march 18th they say I won't be able to access my account anymore. do they really need this information?.. it kind of freaks me out.. please help me.

Same thing happend to me!! I think its a scam but idk because its only happening to certain people, not everyone.
