Is there a way to find out who is running a fake/false facebook page of me?
I was wondering if there is a way to find out info on a facebook page...
Could I look up an IP address or is there a way to find the name of the person who has put up a facebook page or name of their pc/laptop that they are using...
OR my only way is to report it to facebook so they can take it down?????

If they are using your name and picture and than posting falsehoods about you it is against the law and you should contact your local sheriffs office.
