What kind of program would u use?
I am making a sewing business page on Facebook and I want to make some sort of unique profile picture, I tried paint but it was to small what should I use? It could be a program on the computer or an app on my phone.

Check out http://pixlr.com. It is a free web based image tool and really awesome!

The only trouble with it is, I end up spending whole days just playing with it :-)

For the web? For a bitmap try GIMP

For a picture of a variable size try a vector drawing tool like Inkscape:
