Do I need to submit my sub-domains?
My website has multiple sub-domains and I wanted to know if I should submit them in addition to the main domain name. I'm trying to get picked up by search engines and I wanted to know if this would help.

Yes. If you have sites as http://www.mywebsite.com, blog.mywebsite.com, wiki.mywebsite.com You can think that you have one website - mywebsite.com, but for all search engines they are 3 - www, blog and wiki.

That's why you need to submit all of them to search engines. But the problem is that you need to build link building and off-page optimization as 3 sites. That's the main reason i stay away from sub-domains now. You can learn about this on links below:
