Facebook "Review Engine ROI" by SmashItSocial?
Am getting started with a Small business and am looking on using Social media traffic as my source of leads for now..
I have bought some eguides on social media marketing.. and I can say am not as green as when i started..
Today i received an email from a marketer recommending a contest app that can be integrated on facebook to run contests before a product lauch..
The "Review Engine ROI" facebook fanpage app is not FREE.. I think they are asking an investment in regions of $297 and like i mentioned earlier.. am strained on marketing budget and the last thing I want is to do impulse buying for something that might not provide value for my small business..
In this regard.. has anyone used "Review Engine ROI" and what types of business can you recommend to use on their FB fan pages.. your reviews, thoughts tricks and hacks to help make a suitable decision are welcome..

Review Engine ROI is a Software and Training Program by Nick Unsworth
and to respond to your query, if you are going to use social media for your business, then you must understand that there is much more in social marketing than just opening a facebook fanpage, twitter or linkedin..

Much more than than the Review Engine ROI App by Nick Unsworth is the training on how to leverage the power of social media, how to automate most of the processes so that you can concentrate in improving your product..

One of the training videos shows how Amazon has managed to use simple tweaks on their website to increase sales by 33%.
Nick reveals how to use the standard model of promotion in conventional marketing to how it translates to social media
Audience > Objectives > Tactics > Tools > Measurement

Based on my understanding from what I've learnt from the course: If for example you have an online publishing company and want to target a results based niche like fitness.. Assuming you have a soltion/ product to attend the need of the target audience.. before you launch the product do the following:

Step 1. Create a facebook fan page
Step 2. Install a wordpress blog in minutes
Step 3. if your fitness system have 6 modules.. use the 1st module FREE and let your fans experience the results
Step 4. Encourage your fans to post their experience on various milestones for an opportunity to win THE ENTIRE SYSTEM..
Step 5. If you have 100 fans participating in the contest.. there is a viral effect that their friends.. will also get interested in the contest they are participating in.. if each fan reaches 5 people.. thats an extra 400 fans..
Step 6. announce the winners and fulfil their prizes
Step 7. Not to dissappoint those who didn't win, offer a discounted price for them and on condition they rate the system 5 stars and above.
Step 8. Close the contest and the sales page..
Step 9. a few weeks later reopen the sales page and embed facebook fan page testimonials.. and watch conversions go through the roof even with cold traffic who have never heard about you before..

Guess what.. Review Engine ROI automates all these and takes care of all the mechanics.. see the video on the link below to see "Review Engine ROI" in Action
