Limited wifi connection?
I have two networks at home, one that connects perfectly and the other says limited connection when I try to connect even though it sometimes it says connected but there still is no internet connection.
note that that I can connect to both networks on my iPad and both work perfectly but I'm having the problem with the PC alone. I'm using windows 8.1 pro. I tried resetting the IP address and changing the network adapter settings so it doesn't stop to save power, but neither solved the problem.
I disabled Ethernet which solved the problem of the connection, but the internet connection speed is too slow.

if it is a standalone pc the wifi card/usb device may not be powerful enough you could replace with a fixed LAN line or power-line

alternatively you could replace the wifi adapter with a newer wireless N adaptor which has greater range & performance (providing your router supports 802.1 N)
