Xbov Live Router problem?
Lately My Xbox WILL NOT connect to Xbox Live. It will connect to my network and the Internet (when going through the xbox live connection test) but will get a big red X when trying to connect to Xbox Live. We got a new modem ( Cisco DPQ3212 ) a few weeks ago. Was wondering how i can fix this. There is a temporary fix though. If i unplug my modem and router for 60 seconds and do the Restore to factory defaults, I can get it to connect to XbL for around a day. I use a wireless signal and the router and modem are in the room right next door to mine. It worked flawlessly with the old modem. And to add it is a newer model and the router we have is also within a year old. All use to work flawlessly. Help appreciated!

make sure your NAT setting is set to 7 and not strict, also make sure that you are not experiencing an ip conflict with your equipment, if you are change your routers ip address to something like 10.0.0.1 192.1.1.2 anything really, just make sure it isn't the same as the modem
