Is it weird that we text but don't really talk in person?

There is this guy that goes to my church .. We don't really talk and he started following my Instagram and I did the same with him.. He commented on one of my old pics his number saying text me so I did .. Is this weird?

no some lads are quite shy at first to talk face to face with girls and find it easier to hide behind a screnn, surely theres no harm in texting for awhile get to know each other alot better then the face to face talk will surely come when you are both more familar and comftable with each other

As long as you're not 12 and he's older 18 or older. Its cool for you guys to talk if you're around the same age.

no maybe she feels like she can get to know you better by texting then when you meet face to face she'll be able to talk more, because she will have something to talk about.
