Google Chrome Help Please?

I have had Google Chrome for about a month and then the next day I open it but it just shows a white screen and it wont load anything. Then after waiting 2 minutes Google Chrome says it crashed. I try to do it again but It keeps doing the same thing! I have tried re-downloading it but that won't work! I searched and searched all over the web but I cant find anything that will help me fix it. So i'm hoping that someone on Yahoo Answers will tell me why and how to fix it.
How do I check for updates?

Try installing all the updates for your computer, then try redownloading chrome. I run chrome on all 3 of my computers and it runs like a top!

try to reinstall it. use uninstaller program like "your uninstaller 2010" so that no junk will be left behind.

you can check the update by clicking the wrench icon on the upper right corner of google chrome and then click "about google chrome" and a small window will pop out and it will check for update automatically.
