where is the best place to sell my bike uk?

i have a vintage 1970's bicycle, fully restored, but i am struggling to sell it. i am looking for around £100, and i have advertised on Facebook, gumtree, and i've received no response. is there a good place in the uk to sell it, where i will actually get what its worth?

Old doesn't mean vintage. You never stated what you have.

or 100 hours of time

also if it was worth anything, you would already know and say brand model year etc

Fully restored? So that means that you have brought the bike back to showroom condition including paint, and that every part is factory correct?!

If it is an adult bike and you give me the brand and model and provide detailed photos I WILL buy that bike for £100 and even pay the carriage charges to the U.S..

Most 1970's bikes are not collectible despite what most people think. They were mass produced and there's one in every third garage on every street almost. The real bucks come with 1930's bikes and earlier. Also depends what you have, European mid to high end road bikes of the period are still quite sought after and can bring in some hefty dollars (or pounds in your case). If it's a standard 3 speed cruiser or similar it's not worth that much and prices for those fluctuates depending on where you live (big city, countryside, suburb, etc). With standard 70's bikes the difference between a restored - mint or near mint bike and one that's been on the road is quite minimal and it's usually not worth spending cash to 'restore' them as you won't see your money back.
