I don't understand deviantart culture?
The whole groups thing, and people "selling" characters and stuff like that. Also WTF are Llama badges for? People give me one every so often.

Is Deviant Art a good place to post your comics on if you are trying to gain an fans?
*trying to gain fans

I R GUUD ENGRISHER!
It just seems to me like it's mostly used by people wanting to do fan art, or fanfiction and people with actual interesting comics or whatever don't get as much attention. (Talking about other users, not myself. I have yet to finish my first comic.)

Don't understand the selling characters either, aaand i think the llama this is like "likes" on facebook, it basically means, "hey you're pretty cool, have a llama!"
and yes it is a good place to gain fans. Peeps like GangAAkam and Destiny Blue-the latter of whom goes to MCM and sells art gets noticed via Deviantart along with thousands of others!
