Twitter question : Someone I've blocked is tracking my twitter handle, how can I lose them?

This has made me go private... which is a huge inconvenience. They can also still see when people mention me and what they say to me. I'd like to change my @ handle will this help lose them??
What can I do, I'd like to not have to be private just because of this person anymore

You could change your username, and change your name on the account, making it different enough so they couldnt guess the new one, and then delete any tweet or DM's you have connected to that person, or people that are associated with that person.
