some noob android questions?
I keep trying to remove google chrome and google plus from my galaxy s2 plus running android 4.1.2 or something like that but everytime I do, they keep automatically downloading back onto the phone. Is there some way I can keep this from going on?

Also, some other apps keep updating on their own. Some of them I'm able to go into their own menu and disable the auto updates and push notifications but others don't seem to have that option. Is there anywhere on the phone menu I can disable this?

Finally, I keep seeing random icons on the phone that are usually named "app finder" or "apps finder", I can't delete them off the phone applications menu ar the apps manager so I just drag them onto the bin icon on the menu. Are these randomly appearing apps just links to adds and other app sites, and are they harmless?

You can't uninstall anything that's associated with Google; Ex. Google Plus, Google Chrome, Gmail, Google Search, Play Music, Play Books, Google Settings, Hangouts, etc.

I don't know if this would work on your phone because I have an HTC One VX and if you go to the Play Store, then settings, you can click where it says Auto-Update Apps and turn it on or off or only when you have wifi.

Sadly the Google related programs can't be deleted from your Android. I know, it makes me a bit ticked off myself; since Android and Google are affiliated with each other, it's virtually impossible to delete Google related apps.

As for updating, that will depend on your phone. I think you can find out how to stop automatic updates through either Play Store or settings. I have an HTC Evo Design, so I'm just doing it through my personal experience. Sorry I wasn't much of a help, but hope the advice was okay!

------------ you cant uninstall Google apps. They are built into the stock ROM of your phone. Your only option is to ROOT and delete them via Titanium Backup or to Root and then Custom Rom to CyanogenMOD, where those apps are an option.

Also, some other apps keep updating on their own. Some of them I'm able to go into their own menu and disable the auto updates and push notifications but others don't seem to have that option. Is there anywhere on the phone menu I can disable this?
----------- Google Playstore settings... make sure auto update all apps is off and update over wifi is off... also make sure each individual app is set to not auto update on that app's playstore page. IF everything is offf, and its still auto-updating, contact Google. 99.9999% of the time, its your settings, not Google.... just speeking from 7 years of android expereince. Not being mean.

--------- sounds like malware or spyware from a bad app you got on playstore... get LookoutMobile Security and get rid of it.
