how to subtly ask a girl to meet me?

I've known a girl abroad for a few years now, through social media and chats.

recently we've been chatting more and became closer. In May I'm heading to the city where she lives.
i've already told her I'll be there in that period, but haven't exactly asked her to meet me.

how can I subtly do this? it would be wonderful to meet her.
