How to ask a guy friend for his number?

I DO NOT LIKE HIM ROMANTICLY! He is just a nice, funny guy and I get along with him. He is one of the few guy friends I have (I don't have a lot of guys friends cuz I'm shy, and others just asked for my number to be 'friends' but they ended asking me out -.- ) And I though it will be nice to talk to him outside of school in the same way I talk to my girl friends. Again I don't like him and I don't think I'll ever like him that way since (in my last question) I like guys in their 20s. So how can I ask him for his # without leading him? (Should I just give him my username of my LINE? or Kik? so I don't have to give him my real number?)
Idk much about guys, other than they tend to assume sometimes, and I HOPING he doesn't misinterpreted this as me liking him since he the only guy I talk to, other than girls. Or should I just give him my FB and that's it?

don't stress out about it, just say something like "hey, you should text me, here's my number" but, obviously body language is a big part of it and you don't want to be flirty when you talk to him.
