how can marketing be combined with other business roles to add value?
I'm doing an assignment for one of my classes and I'm stuck with this question. If you could help and provide examples, that would be awesome!

If you don't get or keep the market interested in your product or service, your business dies. Of course, you need to sell as well to close on the marketing efforts. Once you get people interested and make a sale, then the company needs to perform by providing whatever it is they said they would do. Once that step is completed, it is important to know if the customer is happy. If not, someone needs to find out what the company can do to make them happy. Marketing will kick in to followup on how the customer feels and do what they can to get repeat business. Also, take those happy experiences and share them with future customers. Then the process repeats.
