How much data do I need?

Ok so here's a little info before. I'm getting a Samsung Galaxy s3 on AT&T. I will be in a place with wifi mostly (home, friends house, resturant, etc.) so how much data will I need? Also, I use instagram a lot. I also surf the web a little and use youtube. I used a data calculator and it said I needed 3gb, but it didn't take in to account the wifi. So can anyone help me?

3gb is fine. You can always use an sd card to store anything you want.

get unlimited data if they offer it or get the most data plan that they offer.

Ill say at least 1-3GB of data or 500mb. The reason I suggested "or 500MB" is Becasue you stated you'll be in places with a lots of wifi so you won't need to use your mobile service providers data. Just tick of your data and browse freely while connected to wifi. When your away from wifi you can disconnect from the wifi network and reconnect to your data network. But it's up to your how much you feel you'll need.
