If you delete an alias then can people still send you emails?

If you have only told someone your alias & not your real email address & they don't know your real email address & you suddenly delete the alias, will they still be able to email you?

No. If you delete your email id which is real or not real, people using any of the two cannot reach you on the other id because they do not simply know that an alternative id exists! For the service provider too, you are two separate individuals with two separate identities.
