Facebook chat?
OK so I'm just a little confused because all the time my boyfriends Facebook chat says he is online but he tells me he isn't online, I mean it's done it while he was at my house so I know he isn't lying about it...or at least that time he wasn't, but just don't see why it would say he's on if he isn't?! I guess I could understand if it never logged off cause I was just assume it's because his Facebook is always logged onto his phone but that is not the case because sometimes it doesn't have him as online?...is it just a Facebook glitch?

There is no need to panic about it being a virus because it most likely isn't. Sometimes when you log-out of websites (in this case Facebook) there can be a delay with the server keeping the users status as online. This is one possible scenario.

The second scenario would be that the account is still logged in on a device or application. Perhaps applications such as Spotify may cause this issue. To resolve this you can simply change your password on Facebook, you will then be presented with the option to log-out of all device/applications. Changing your password on a monthly basis will keep your account secure.

Good luck!

Also Facebook sometimes keeps you logged in if you have the Facebook app on your phone. I still appear online for minutes (10-20) after I finished using it.
