something a bit creepy with the internet?
This just happened to me. So i got bored and started checking all my emails on yahoo from my old address, and then some Brian Edwards emailed me just 5hrs ago and telling me:

"Wassup Daniel how is life treating you I still think about you ,we had some good conversations hope you are well write me some time .I mailed you a letter to that address you gave me and I still follow you on twitter. So wassup"

1st i dont think i have ever talked to someone named Brian Edwards, 2nd i dont have twitter anymore. and i dont post email address on twitter.

and this guy knows my name?!??!!?

not just that, i got emails from a site i've never heard of, which is spring.me ..and i dont think i have made an account in that site. whats going on@?!?@!
so this spring.me is the new version of formspring, so im ok with that

ive had emails like that sent to me before but not to that extent... im not sure what you could do but if your sure you dont know the person and that person knows all those things, then thats deff something to worry about....as far as the spring.me site, dont worry bout it just block/mute it, i get things like that all the time i think it happens when you go into a certain site that causes it to do that but thats more of a guess.... hope this helps Smile

Its a scam. I get emails like that from time to time. I don't know how, but companies can get acess to our email. Does your email start with Daniel? If so, that's why it said Daniel. I never reply to those.
