CCTV is installed in India can it be viewed from USA?
My colleagues often say that my boss is watching us from USA but I doubt as static IP works only within India pls help!

Recently we set up the same thing in our office. The NVR(network video recorder) gets a local ip address, on the router which has a public ip address port forwarding is done to the NVR. So when you type the public ip address of the router you get the web interface of the NVR from any where in the world. Also the one they set up has an android/ios/blackberry application for the same purpose. Its very possible my friend to monitor remotely via CCTV. Lucky for us internet in kenya is so bogus that getting a connection half of the time is a pain due to how much bandwidth streaming video eats up.

IPs are world-wide, regardless of whether they're static or dynamic, so it should work anywhere. Unless the USA has restrictions on connections to India, or India to the USA (I'm not aware of any such restrictions between USA and India), it's entirely possible.

Although, chances are he's not just sitting there watching CCTV all day.

Yes, as long as they have the IP address of the CTV camera, people from all over the world can see the video.
