Advertising for my Jewelry?
Ok so I just sort of started making Jewelry. I have made a fan page on my facebook, I have made a shop on Etsy and Ive also created a site where customers can register for free to get information on anything I may have to offer. Now this sort of came into my head the other day that when I get mail, some are from people advertising not including like walmart or anything like that. Well I have printed ads out and taped them but I have rude neighbors that tear them down. So I thought about doing postcards to houses. But I dont have any house addreses. Is there ANY WAY I can find a list of home addresses and send postcards? I would like to try advertising this way as well. Serious answers please.

It's unlikely that a postcard advertising campaign would end up being profitable, those that do succeed are for fairly profitable, universally appealing products sold with a carefully designed sales funnel.

one source of mailing lists: lists.nextmark.com

Is a database of demographically targeted audiences who are subscribers of special magazines or prior buyers of particular products, you can get much higher conversion rate when marketing to the ideal audience, these lists may cost around 10 cents a name and require a 1000 name rental min.

At least in the U.S. there is a lower postal rate when mail is pre-sorted by postal codes for large mailings it is most cost effective to use a specialized printing-mailing service.

There's an excess of jewelry suppliers competing in a limited market, you can't match the prices of generic Asian made pieces. Providing unique, perhaps personalized designs made to order might be a better paying niche. It might be a goal to become one of those with an established reputation as an artist who can charge a fair amount more.

Consider starting with your family members, relatives, friends and colleagues. Believe in the power of words/connection.
