Yeah it is! It's a little risky and you have to make sure you don't get addicted, but my parents got an iPad for only $30!!! But, like all gambling, it's hard to know when to stop, and you need to be able to draw the line.

It is more of a casino than an auction, on average I suspect they may collect more than the list price for each item after you add up all the other people who paid in bids almost as much as the one winning an auction.
