Whenever I exit Google Chrome, my theme goes back to default?

On Google Chrome, I installed a theme that is different from the default. However, whenever I exit Google Chrome, it goes back to the default theme and deletes the theme I installed. So every time I go on Google Chrome, I'd have to go back to the Chrome Store, and download the theme I want again. This is getting very tedious and annoying. How do I make my theme stay as it is?
