How do I reply?

Ok, so a girl I like and who likes me added me on facebook around 1 month ago.

Last night, I said "Hey again " and this morning she put "Hey sorry for late reply on holiday".

I'm just wondering how i should reply as I don't want to appear boring with the old "How are you" (I've said that before quite a bit)

You must become inspired and/or wasted.
Stay up all night!
Work out for two hours!
Watch a documentary about llamas!
I'm serious. Then you'll have plenty to talk about and nothing to hold you back.
I was talking to a friend of mine on facebook who I hadn't seen for two years. I thought "screw the 'nice to hear from you, how are you, I'm doing well' introduction!"
I skipped to the chase and sent him a ridiculously long monologue about how much I love sharks. I pretty much wrote a pro-shark essay and sent it to him. Out of the blue. After two years of being out of touch. It spurred a very funny, random and slightly delirious conversation that lasted all night. It only took that to get us back in touch.
