Firefox for iPad - Does this iPad Web Browser exist and Support Private or Anonymous Internet Browsing?

Firefox browser for iPad isn't supported any more but the closest alternative is Foxbrowser on the App Store in iTunes that supports Firefox sync.

For anonymous browsing -- which is more secure than private browsing -- you can use the default Safari browser in iPad (no need for Firefox or Foxbrowser) and simply encrypt your IP address using a VPN. There's an app for that too, supported on both iPad and iPhone:

By the way, there are several alternative internet browsers for iPad (other than Foxbrowser) and they include Chrome, Opera Mini, Photon, Mercury, Skyfire and Atomic.

Skyfire also supports Flash video which was the main reason it became popular in the first place. That's because iPad doesn't support Flash natively due to iOS security restrictions on browser plugins.

Safari is based on Apple's version of Webkit while Firefox is based on open source Gecko which is Mozilla Foundation's own web development standard. The two are different and hence support and compatibility differs. Stick with Safari and plug it into a VPN tunnel. That works great for privacy and security on your iPad.
