how is this possible with facebook chat?

How is this possible that someone's little phone in the chat thing on facebook says 10hrs but it shows that they just changed their profile picture about 10 mins ago and even liked two other pictures. I know there's no way that person could have had access to a computer. how is this possible?
What do you mean it screws up, it hasn't done it ever. Every time I log in in see that they were last on facebook with their phone 32m ago or w/e. Now it's showing 10h when I see that they were likeing a picture 20 mins ago, and they even changed their profile picture too.

Maybe that person blocked me somehow so I can't see the exact time? But i see that persons newsfeed, it just doesn't make sense.

Assuming you're talking about the facebook app. When a person exits out of the facebook app, on their phone, facebook runs in the background. I think that, in your case, facebook screwed up and is showing the wrong time that the person was on mobile.
