There are probably some MLM business directory and review sites you can get into for free.

To get another perspective and a look at a similar business in action, it may be worth seeing the Penn & Teller BS cable program episode on MLM

Looking at your site, I believe you are into a mature type of niche. I don't think pay per click such as adwords would allow you to advertise such site in the general public. Here is a suggestion, ask a website such as this one: http://www.meetyoursweet.com/. As you can see, their main site gathers leads through their opt in so anyone who joins is definitely into this type of niche. Then ask the owner if you can somehow place a banner or ad somewhere in their site. If not, ask them if they can somehow release an email broadcast or several of them promoting your website to their list of subscribers.. you will need to pay them of course. There are other methods but your best option is to find relevant websites that are not direct competitors and build relationship with the owner and their followers. Hope this helps.

Great tip: Email & SMS Marketing - are the bread and butter of the marketing industry and especially useful, if you're on a budget!
Email Marketing can help you to professionally engage with your customers and clients, and stay at the "top of mind" awareness with them. The trick is to send out regular newsletters, updates and tips via email & sms. As you stay active, people get exposed to your business more and more.
I recommend http://www.enudge.com.au - they in my experience provide quality service for a compatitive price! 500 emails = $11.
