Should I ask out my lab partner?

He's one of the popular guys and I'm not exactly popular... like he added me on fb, gave me his number, rated me hot on hot or not but he doesnt make an effort to talk to me in class.. i really wanna ask him out but i dont wanna emarras myself if he says no because it will be so awkward after... should i? If so how?

Go for it!! If he did all of that, then maybe he likes you and is just too shy to ask you out. And if you do, just ask him after school and make sure that no one is around just incase he does say no, which he probably wont. And ask it quietly just incase there are people around and you embarrass yourself. And if you don't want to ask him yourself get one of your closest friends to ask him for you.
